Last time Trump was in office some of the climate data did go away and a lot of the climate-related work was put on pause.
Lee Zeldin has in the past said he believes in climate change and has in the past said he believes it is a serious issue because he and his family were personally affected by Hurricane Sandy.

But that said, it will be pretty disgusting if or when he puts his actual personal experiences and beliefs on the back burner just because Trump said so. That will show an extreme lack of character and morals.
Given his Five Pillars just released, which says EPA's mission is bizarrely all about "energy dominance" and "american automaking" that lack of character and morals is manifesting itself.
