It kills me as a mom to see how regular school changes who they are (one is back in private and one went into MCPS). It’s a real shame the US didn’t use the pandemic to reevaluate running schools like prisons and factories.

I did it for a year due to covid . DD was 3rd grade. No regrets whatsoever. Didn’t keep up with it though.

I’ve had to do homeschooling more than once and would never mimic mcps’s curriculum. Otherwise might as well stay with mcps. Find your own resources and teach how you think subjects should be taught.
