Hire a nanny so you can take time to get to know new people. Don’t do a share with complete strangers. Your child’s safety isn’t worth the monetary savings.

Can you think of anyone who’d be willing to move with you? Are you a single parent?

Hello there, I am moving to the area and am trying to find a nanny share in DC/Alexandria. What is the best way to find a family to share with? My current set up in the town I am moving from is a mom who brings her baby to my house and pay a reduced rate, similar to a nanny share. It has worked very well for us, but it is a military town to there are a lot of SAHM on care.com who does this.

I have not found anyone who does this on care.com in Alexandria? thoughts?
