To answer your question, no, some people do not know that they are pushing into the seat in front of them. Did you let him know?

+1. My DH doesn’t have a choice. He takes an aisle so he can put one leg in the aisle when people aren’t there. If I’m next to him he manspreads into me. But if he’s flying alone he can’t do that.

What do you want him to do? That’s just how long his upper leg is. It can go to the front or into the space of the person next to him.
So a person in front of him gets to suffer because of him?

Not really the problem of a person in front of him, don't you think?

+1 They don't have to make the seats child sized.

They're the same people who lean all the way back.

Oh when he flies alone he still man spreads. Such a douche. I always wondered how these men were married. Now I know.

but somehow they manage everywhere else except for the airplane. You don't get to push the person in front of you no matter what.

I know, I know. Tall people don’t have enough room in the tiny spaces between seats. But in this case, this was a bit more than that. Guy behind me was not nba tall, average height maybe 5’9 or so when we got off the plane. And, suddenly his knees were gone when beverage service came around.

I had back surgery in my lower back and having knees… moving knees at that… prodding right where I had surgery was not fun. No, I didn’t put my seat back.

Do people not realize that pressing into the seat in front of you means you’re pressing into the person in front of you?
