If I even have a job (which seems increasingly unlikely as of this moment), I’ll have to report for 8 hour days 5 days a week. I can’t do drop off at 8:20 am on the other side of town, in what is going to be worsening traffic due to everyone else being called back 5 days a week, and be to work near the Capitol by 8:30 am. If I’m not in by 8:30 am I will have to leave after 5pm, and I REALLY can’t make it through evening rush hour to school by the time aftercare ends at 6pm.
Before care starting at 7:00 am would be ideal. I would drop off then, be to work by 7:30 am, and be able to leave by 4pm and beat a bit of the evening traffic and actually get some time with my child before they go to bed.
