Kathe, pronounced Kay-tuh
I was named after the artist Käthe Kollwitz because my parents are big fans and collect her works. I like the name when I'm in home in Switzerland because people know how to pronouce it. But because I live in the DMV half the year, I also get called "Cathy" which is ACK!

Lyndsay. I've always loved my name and the spelling.

I have a name that was uncommon in the 80s/90s when I was growing up (Emma) but super common now. I liked it then and now.

FWIW, I think Jennifer is a lovely name and Jenny is an adorable nickname.

I have an old fashioned name that isn't that common- only 2 in my school at most- but I don't like it, never have, tried to change to my also disliked middle name but failed. I gave my DS an ethnic to go with his last name. I hope he likes it!
