You are in greater danger driving to the airport.

Not sure this will be true anymore under this administration. I have several trips coming up and decided to drive whenever feasible. I’m sure I’m not the only one thinking that. Plane crashes are extremely tragic but typically seem like a rare anomaly. This one doesn’t feel that way.

The aviation industry is about to lose a lot of money due to this administration.

There have been a lot of close calls at National.

If I remember correctly there was a well publicized one as recently as the past 2 or 3 years.

This incident could have easily ended up being one of the numerous close calls that happened previously.

Eventually those close calls end up being an actual collision.

There have been lots of unreported close calls at National airport. Hopefully this will come to light during the investigation.

For the record, I have always thought the airspace around National Airport is too crowded.

Daytime travel is fine.

But what about travel at night?

Am I safer traveling to/from Baltimore and Dulles?
