Likely a combination of unfilled positions and actual people being transferred. Almost all the Chief jobs were put open. That doesn’t mean there will be all new people but it does mean there are some position related changes

Interested in this chart. Does anyone know where we can find it? I agree with the decision to reorganize central office.

It’s supposed to be published today. Tune into todays budget meeting where the changes should be discussed.

Positions were cut from specific programs. Those people are being involuntarily transferred - meaning they still have a job but have to apply for a new position when positions start opening up.

Special Education and early childhood teachers and SLPs were cut. Everything done quickly and seemed like bo one was following any procedures with the cuts.

I did hear that the TPT paras with no benefits positions will be listed as regular para positions with benefits.

Have CO staff already lost their jobs, so new people will be in seat, or is a new org chart being posted and people will have to reapply for their jobs?

So who are the MCEA members? And are any of them being reassigned?

This sounds like a reminder that instructional specialists, curriculum development people, restorative justice staff, etc are still members of MCEA alongside actual classroom teachers/school based staff.

You’d have to look them up but there are positions like Parent Coordinators, Coaches, even some resource positions that work mostly or entirely in schools but their positions are classified to CO.

It sounds like they will just change the names of different positions and we will still have an inflated central office and understaffed schools.

I am a teacher and received an email about a large number of central office staff (including school-based staff) that have been involuntarily transferred. Can anyone add details as to what is going on where these people are being transferred?
