Hi! I did this.
1) you don't need a license for charters
2) if you would still like to pursue a license, google osse and licensure out of the country. There is a website explaining it. Basically get your training verified by an independent company and take the Praxis test, then apply for the license.

If you teach at a charter you don't need any certification

Are you presently teaching in DCPS?

You also don’t need the license before applying or even starting to teach in DC. Once you are hired and in the DCPS system you will get some assistance with how to apply if that’s helpful.
