Can you join a gym with classes? Can't stand machines myself. I take dance 5 days a week and the 45 minute/session fly by. The cardio is amazing.

Stick with what works for you and you can be consistent with! Try adding some variety to what you already do so that you're increasing overall time, while keeping the thing works.

Define cardio. Is your heart rate getting so high you can't talk? That is really hard to sustain for more than 15 minutes for most people. You should try to keep your heart rate low enough so you can have a conversation.

Is there a question in here?

Do what is manageable! Always remember to tell yourself that 15 minutes is better than zero minutes.

The workout you will actually do is the absolute best one for you.

Maybe try a class? Or a different type of cardio you enjoy more (or despise less). I love cardio but 15 min on the elliptical would bore me to tears as well.

I wish I didn’t hate cardio so much. I’ve despised it my entire life. Dreaded running days in gym class etc. I’m 45 now and need to get my heart healthier.

Thank you. I do the elliptical first thing in the morning. And I have to listen to music I like with earbuds.

Everywhere I read it says you have to do 30-45 minutes once. And that is what stopped me. But 15 minutes or even 10 is better than nothing
