That was my nephew’s first car. My sister and BIL wanted to have as much car around him as possible.

We bought DS a C6 Vette because he got a full ride LAX scholarship. He held up his end of the deal, we held up ours. It came out of his college fund.

We gave DC a car (used) in HS then sold it when they went off to college (big city didn’t need it). If they end up needing a car after graduation we will give them our Honda which is 4 years old.

We bought DD a new Subaru Crosstrek and DS a new Subaru Outback. Both with eyesight and all the safety features.

No but they can usually get a car when they want it. We have two cars with four drivers.

Nope. Graduating college soon and if they end up in a city where they need a car I’d probably give them my 10 year old car.

I bought my 20 year old a Mazda CX-50, new unfortunately. With the prior year rebates it was less expensive than used and I wanted the latest safety features because she is a pretty inexperienced driver
