I am PP and was mistaken. DD attended a HS tryout not open gyms. She is not sure they had open gyms last year.

+ most AAU players have their offers locked in for Spring. Same for Potomac Valley Thunder top teams. I am wondering if they'll have secondary teams. Or even the opportunity to get in the gym with the coaches.

Early march used to be the standard timeline for tryouts (after school and FCYBL seasons ended).

Orgs keep pushing up their tryout dates trying to lock in players. I saw a place having tryouts for spring in January! Absurd!
