Thanks for the advice. I’m going to try to spread it out for now. So bummed. My insurance coveted it all last year and suddenly they just stopped. Said they will only cover for type 2 diabetes.

Problem is they didn’t tell me that so I’ve wasted a month trying to get a drug they previously covered for me last year approved. Plus, now I can’t get an appointment with the designated weight management people until mid Feb to find out what I need to do to get it covered. I asked if it went against my deductible for the year if I pay out of pocket in the meantime, and they said it doesn’t if it’s not approved. That doesn’t make sense to me but nothing about this makes sense to me. I guess they want me to be fat and have high blood pressure again?!
