The countywide Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE) magnet program at Sherwood High School is on the verge of being cut. The program was opened to all MCPS 8th graders for lottery in the fall but was quietly removed from course registration. Sherwood is/was the only countywide option for agricultural science education, a great lead-in to UMD's College of Ag and Natural Resources.
