Does anyone know if they interview all applicants? Or has anyone had an interview and not got into the program?

We just got our request for an interview on 1/28 so perhaps they are chipping away at the applicants. The interviews were available for the next 5 business days.

DC had 1 interview for Benhilde. They spoke with student first and then parents.

As I remember from speaking with representatives during the open house:
Interview is important. They want to make sure the student is committed to the program and it is not just the parent.
If you are not selected for an interview, you may still be in the pool for admission - just not to the Benilde program.
There is no harm reaching out and asking if you child is still in consideration for the Benilde program.

Op here. I have no idea, as I didn’t even know this interview existed until yesterday, but I will tell you that the only interview slots we got yesterday were in a three day window this week. That makes me think they are doing multiple rounds of interviews on short notice so you may hear from them!

Does not getting an interview now mean your kid is out of the running? Or are there several rounds of interviews?

ADHD typical - more time, extra study hall with support staff available, uses headphones for reading assignments to listen.

I think Benilde takes fewer than 50 kids. Does your kid get accommodations now? What kind of learning differences does your child have?

We didn't get one. How many get admitted to the Benilde program. What is the size? Curious if anyone else didn't get one. We are new to the area and clueless about the size and heard that many apply to the school overall but didn't ask how many into this program.

Our child applied to Benilde as well. We understood from current students that there is an interview for applicants. I don’t know whether they interview everyone or just the people they want, but it is a good sign.

Can I ask how the interview request came to you? Email? Call? Can you see anything on your admissions portal?

There's no mention on the application or website about an interview but DC got asked this week to come for an interview for Benilde. Is this something every applicant does or can we read tea leaves at all? I was wondering if it means they can't decide on DC's application.
