Mt. Vernon used to be free on Pres Day if your kids are interested (mine aren't but YMMV).
The pandas made a debut. Try the zoo.
Otherwise we treat it like a reg weekend - walk Great Falls (or any of the county parks), tons of museums and historic things around here,

We don't live in DC - we live in the suburbs about 35 mins outside. We often go in and go to a Smithsonian museum over a long weekend - we don't get in with the whole family that much otherwise these days. But you may do that all the time, IDK.

We're in town for Prez day weekend. Anything you've done in the past that you've liked? WE have 2 kids 9 and 11 who will just be off Friday before (14) and Monday (presidents day)
