We stayed at the Doubletree Hilton Kensington. It was a great location as far as being close to a Tube station that easily accessed all the highlights. The room was small for 4 of us, but we managed for a few nights in the city.

ZHotel Covent Garden has a great family room if you don’t mind sharing a queen size bunk bed and a very close bathroom

Are you willing to share beds? We are a generally smaller family, so maybe this wouldn't work, but we did fine with two doubles at Sea Containers (odd name but really nice hotel).

Do you have a budget in mind OP? The Residence Inn in Kensington (Earl Court area) and St. Ermins are going to be $700+ a night. Hilton Bankside was sold out for my dates.

We got a 2 bedroom at the residence in Kensington. It also had a pullout couch in the family room. There’s an excellent Italian place that delivers to the rooms. Calling it Kensington is a bit generous — it’s the outer corner of what can be considered Kensington. But it was only a 10 minute walk to a tube station with trains going basically everywhere.

We did Residence Inn a while back, but the kids might have to share the sofa bed in the living room. It comes with free breakfast too, which can come in clutch for a family.

Hilton Bankside has nice family connecting rooms that are not $$

I searched and searched and was never able to find a hotel where 2 small rooms were less expensive than just finding one room that will sleep all of us. DH and teens are tall, so Double beds won't work, they have to be Queen.

I ended up booking Hilton London Metropole adjacent to the Edgeware Road tube station (near Paddington.) The area isn't fancy but seems functional enough. I couldn't find anything in Kensington/Westminster area that would sleep us all for under $650/night. St. Ermins is commonly recommended but its pricey. I was able to reserve the Hilton for about $420 depending on the exchange rate. For late June, that was as good as I could find.

We’re a family of 5 and I use Booking.com to research hotels. That site does a pretty good job of aggregating options for all party sizes as well as non-traditional options like aparthotels.

We stayed at St. Ermin’s in London. It’s a Marriott property in a good, walkable location. They had a family room that fit the 5 of us, but the best part was 2 full bathrooms.

Residence Inn near Earl's Court was great. We had a 3 room suite that was not that expensive plus could use/earn Marriott points.

Maybe the Citadines aparthotels? Or Premier Inns are relatively inexpensive if reserved dar in advance so could maybe get two rooms

The Premier Inn Family rooms are usually one queen(ish?) size bed and two very small single beds. It works though. We’ve stayed at several.

If money ain’t a thang, Chavel Three Quays right across from the Tower of London might be something to think about. Recently, we’ve just been getting air BnBs. So much more space to spread out.

I’m sure this has been asked before but it’s hard to search through all the London threads. We are four, two adults and two teens and looking for a room that can accommodate four people. Anyone have recommendations? We don’t have an itinerary or anything booked yet so location recommendations would be helpful too. We will likely be in London for several days in June and then somewhere outside the city for a few days, 10 days total. Thanks!
