Could be the artificial sweetener or added fiber. Corn fiber gives me the worst stomach pain.

For some reason, completely plain whey shakes give me palpitations.

Any time I ingest a whey protein product, whether it be a shake or a bar, I get HORRIBLE gas about an hour later. It doesn’t happen with any other dairy product. What’s the deal with whey?
