OP here. I am happy to buy a workbook, but what one?
We need to know which vocab lists/grammar skills will be covered for the studying to be effective. If he can conjugate irregular verbs perfectly and the test is on the words for zoo animals, he will still do poorly.

Forgot to finish sentences. Kids haven't taken World Language so don't know if a workbook will help but others have said that's what they did

Any publicly available? Teacher refuses to assign homework and just suggests duolingo, but I was hoping for resources closely linked to the curriculum.
