Schools determine staffing and teachers’ schedules based on what students register for in January/February. Because of the tight budget that has resulted in increases in class sizes, there is very little wiggle room in each class once staffing decisions are made in the spring.

Speaking on behalf of HS counselors and teachers, please try to register for what your child will commit to taking next year.

Just call or email the counselor over the summer. If the schedule fits and the class has availability, they’ll make the change

Counselors will bring that up in late July/early August.
