Is he wearing a suit? If business casual he can wear nicer sneakers, like All Birds. If a suit then he needs rubber soled wing tips. Look on DSW.

My husband is returning to the office. He says when he walks around, his wingtip oxfords go "clack-clack-clack" and no one else wears those dressy type of shoes anymore.


So, what shoes are men wearing these days into the office?

Works for government agency, senior level but not the highest levels. (I dont know how to describe it as I am in private sector.). He is 45.
it's not a fashion forward environment. but he does not want to look outdated/ behind the times.
