I think your best way to accomplish this is to stay at home - cook together, Watch movies, and play board or video games. Fun, no inauguration news, and warm.

Not PP you replied to, but when we "stay at home", we go for a long walk with the dog in our neighborhood. The kids use our indoor trampoline. I might be doing chores and cooking something elaborate. So even if we add a movie to this, we're not inactive.

We're just going to enjoy a nice cozy day at home. DS is home from college for the weekend, DD has the day off, it's going to be lovely.

Even walking to the aquarium in Baltimore will be freezing, I’d imagine, so close to the water.
