at what age group did you lose 60%? U14?

u12 2nd team. But the influx affected a lot of age groups.

Thanks. Would expect more changes for younger years even without the change to a new league. Established ECNL/ga teams have huge turnovers at younger ages too

Not playing in the fall changes nothing. Tryouts are same time, early spring, and offers will go out quickly to top players then trickle down. No changes.

Bu, if your club announces that they are joining GA or ECNL, for example, you can expect A LOT more girls to try to get on the team.

Additionally, offers for the next season usually won't go out until after tryouts official start.

Tryouts suck, and families will be on edge until after the offers go out. Tryouts, are usually at the end of March through April.

My U14 D is on a team that is rumored to join a top league (yea, rumor, but they are good enough to be rumored about and the club is always working towards it, so take it for what it is)

She is NOT a starter but gets ok playing time (more than half and the team played 20+ games in the fall). The team is always having girls come in for tryouts (mostly from lower level top league teams), and as a 14 girl gets, she worries she will be cut next year.

When do clubs that do not really play in the fall give out offers to existing borderline players? Since she is not in one of those top leagues yet, they can have tryouts and make offers whenever they want.

Also at this age, how much would a team change if they were to be added to one of the top leagues? Would you expect a ton of tryouts the minute they get invited?

My D likes the coach and she gave my D a good review (doing well, keeps improving) and my D does NOT want to switch teams
