If by sporty you mean lax bro or hoping for the Friday Night Lights football experience, then no, they don't have football or lacrosse. But when you hear people say it is a good choice for kids who are not sporty, that does not mean it is not a good school for boys who are -- plenty of the boys there are sporty, including usually one recruit per year (swimming, wrestling, golf, fencing, cheerleading, skating, and rowing in recent years), and lots of boys who just love sports. It's just not an "all about sports," athlete-worshipping kind of place. As many boys will attend the theater performances to support their friends as the soccer and basketball games.

Your "social" comment is just uncalled for, unless by "social" you mean a big drinking party culture -- true, you won't find that. You don't need alcohol to be a social teenager.

Unless “energetic” is code for “bounces of the walls and is uncontrollable in the classroom” pretty much any school will do well, with the sports caveats already mentioned.

Sheridan takes kids in older grades - it is a k-8 and has a lot of kids this profile and is a wonderful school. You may want to do a k-12 if you can though because you'll have to go through ordeal of applying out.

Another way to look at Burke is that they have no-cut sports, so if a kid isn't at a super high level they can still play/participate in any sport they'd like. But know Burke is Gr 6-12, some sports are HS only and some have both MS and HS teams.

Pretty much every single school has more than a handful of kids as you describe. If sporty, stay away from BASIS or St. Anselm, and if they want to be competitive in sports, the same applies to Field and Burke. Other than that, it's a long list from the few criteria.
