Nope. Trump's first inaguration had protests, but the Women's March was pretty gentle and I don't think there were arrests. Same with the GWB inauguarations. There was litter, but any big event in DC has that (go to the Mall any July 5th; it's gross). And it was the leadup to Biden's inauguaration that had pipe bombs and the invasion of the Capitol.
It's true that the general vibes of people who live in DC are happier when it's a Democrat elected--it's mostly a Democratic city--but there are always people who come to town who are excited.
