I doubt that there is consensus on issues such as sex before marriage or GLBTQ+ but probably there is general consensus on being guided by love, behaving in ethical ways in relationship (not cheating or lying) and setting healthy boundaries .
NAVIGATING MODERN DATING AS A CHRISTIAN

Modern Christian dating practices include being guided by love, setting boundaries, and prioritizing godly character.
Being guided by love
Love over lust: Prioritize love over lust, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you
Put obedience over passion: Do what's right, even if it doesn't feel good
Examine your motives: Consider whether your motivations are genuine affection or something else
Setting boundaries
Set limits mutually: Both partners should be responsible for setting limits
Respect each other: If one person is uncomfortable with physical expression, don't do it
Determine what's "must-have" vs "nice to have": Prioritize godly character firs
If you leave out the religious references, this is good advice for anyone.
+1 "Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you" and "Prioritize godly character first" seem meaningless and superfluous.

I don’t think there is any one Christian way. I have Christian friends who range from very conservative and don’t even encourage college aged children from sharing accommodation with opposite gender students and others who are very permissive.
We encourage our children to be responsible and not casually mess with people’s feelings. Both DC are in committed relationships and older one is married. We put no pressure on younger one to get married and would prefer they wait until they are finished college and more settled.
The important thing to us is to be in loving respectful relationships. They both dated before their current partners.
I also would not have cared if they were gay but they are not. Love is love.
