The best players have limited time to attend camps. If they do attend it shows they have real interest in talking to the coach.

My understanding from my kid's coaches is that kids do get the attention of coaches at the camps on their campuses. I don't know that they could completely get recruited from a camp, but if a coach has been impressed by a kid at a camp, they're more likely to watch that kid's film, talk to their coach, or show up at their game at a tournament, and those things added together can lead to recruitment.

I hope that's right, since my kid is signed up for a few of these.

Attend direct ID Camps hosted by the schools you are interested in. The coaches will be there and you can tour the school. ID Camps run by a 3rd party with multiple schools represented are of little benefit for recruiting.
