DP. With young kids (and older kids), it's better to rip the bandaid off quickly. Lots and lots of anticipation makes it worse, not better. They'll move when they move, they don't need to figure it all out beforehand.

The youngest of the three Vance children is 3. Strap heavy furniture/furnishings to the wall and get those devices that wind up the pull cords on blinds (if there are any in the VP’s residence).
