No. My DH does his own laundry. In my family, we all do our laundry including my teens.

I do but he goes through so much clothing that he also does some. I don’t fold all his stuff.

The housekeeper does our laundry and the nanny does the kids'.

I would feel uncomfortable being expected to do another adult's laundry. When I was SAHM, I did tend to do DH's laundry, but our laundry was intermingled and I just usually was the one who happened to be around to take care of it. He also is normal about re-wearing things, uses a towel multiple times, etc. But then there were occasional days DH would do the laundry (including mine and the kids'). Same with things like making dinner and emptying the dishwasher - whoever was around would just do it. I was home with a toddler and an infant at the time, so I worked plenty hard being their caregiver, and taking care of the basic house needs. Maybe it would be different if the kids were in school, but I now work FT, and DH manages to do his own laundry, despite having a very demanding job (more than my FT job). It seems weird to expect your partner to do it for your, although you can certainly throw his clothes in the wash here and there and help fold things if you have downtime.

Hell no. Tell him to live simply so others can simply live. He lucky you even give any. Such a turn off.

I told DH before we married that I would not iron for him but would manage his dry cleaning. I did his laundry for awhile and he didn’t like the way I did it. So I told him he could live with it or do it himself and he chose to do it himself. 😇

Yes, I did all the laundry when I was SAH. However, DH offered to do his own. Just seemed more of a hassle to segment his out.

Do you do your spouse’s laundry?

DH is all put out that he is the only person in the whole world with a SAH spouse who has to do his own laundry.
I think it’s normal.

Also, he exercises 3-4 days a week and refuses to use towels or wear jeans more than once, so he has a lot of laundry.
