This exactly. If this is your new permanent boss, I'd think you'd want to leave whether they are planning to fire you or not.
You know this person is not going to change and their feelings about you are certainly set as well. Being consistently on edge and not getting along with your boss puts you on the road to hating your job by the end of 2025.
I would be looking for a new job.
