I don't see where the Science Capstone requires AP Research and AP Seminar.

The AP Capstone which does require both AP Research and AP Seminar is different from the two you list here.

I don't think it should be a question about which is more rigorous and instead in which does the student have more interest. THE AOIT academy is going to be more IT/Networking oriented and it seems students will have opportunities to gain real world certifications. Whereas the STEM Capstone seems just to be a college preparatory curriculum for intended science majors + an internship.

I suggest reaching out the counselor or program director to get a better understanding of the details of each program.

Which is more rigorous:
"Academy of IT" with the Programming track, or "Science Capstone/STARS" ?

AoIT includes 3 "Advaancd Level" programming classes including AP CS A.

Science Capstone requires AP Seminar AP Research.

(Both allow freedom to take other APs.)

Both require an internship and a project/report afterward. AP Capstone is probably a more significant project/report, since it's a whole class after the internship.

I guess my question ultimately is whether AP Capstone is a better use of time than taking 2 other classes like more AP sciences or Economics.
