We’ve had similar types of things happen and usually an email goes out to either just the parents at that school (usually) or (sometimes) all K-12 parents.

How should a school communicate this to the parents and school community? The entire school community should know or just the parents of the grades impacted?

A teacher at a private school in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has been charged with possession of child sex abuse images.

The charges stem from allegations that DeWitte used Snapchat to speak with multiple boys under the age of 18, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office. The chats included conversations that were sexual in nature.

Police said DeWitte works at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in Cambridge
