Hurricane season. I would rethink.

No flights is huge. Four stops is better than three. Private islands are my personal favorite.

We are looking at cruises for the last week of August. We’ve found two cruises that work.

#1: MSC World America out of Miami: brand new ship, would require flying in/out, and hotel night before. We could probably cover the cost of hotel & flight on points.

Brand new ship. Appears to have lots of amenities. Ports would be Costa Maya, Cozumel, Roatan, and their private island in the Bahamas.

#2: Carnival Sunshine out of Norfolk: no flights! ANCIENT ship that’s in dry dock right now so hopefully that will help. Ports would be Old San Juan, T&C, and Amber Cove in the DR.

We’ve done one cruise on the NCL Joy before and we were in a 2bedroom suite. It was glorious! Our budget is a little less this time around. We would get a balcony room with Pullman bunks and thermal lounge passes for either option.

The MSC cruise is one day shorter but we could also have the drinks & wifi package for the same price as Carnival no wifi/drinks.

I know each cruise line seems to have their groupies and haters online so it’s tough….we’re be traveling with a preschooler and upper elementary aged kid.

Thank you!
