I read that during high stress the body produces more cortisol.which leads to more sebum, then greasy skin and hair.
I have generalized anxiety and on top of that have also had sometimes weeks-long periods of extreme stress (leading to panic attacks during which I'm persuaded I'm going to die)... and my skin and hair have remained the same, ie, dry (with an oily T-zone during PMS).
Address the skin issue and stress separately. Try acne/oily skin cleansers, clarifying shampoos, suncreen for oily skin, etc.
Are you sure you're not just PMS-ing?
