I know you are focused on the weight around your middle, but at your age you really need to be thinking about whole body strength and flexibility, with some cardio. That will include core work, and once you start to tone up you will likely see the changes you are looking for.

Also, review your diet. If you can cut some sugar and carbs and replace with protein, that will help a lot, too.

I'll give my usual recommendation for Fitness Blender. They have many beginner friendly workouts and you can select by intensity and workout length to meet your needs.

For the workout length you mentioned, you might want to look at the seven minute workout. You can find various versions online and FB has one also.

Yes! I love Anne Taylor Murdoch(spelling?) she does great arm exercises. Super doable. 10-15 minutes a day. No guilt and you see results

I like Blogilates a lot. There are a lot of 10-12 minute videos.

There are so many good ones!

I really liked this one when I was just starting to do videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNAOIXhNRJs

Body Project has a whole TON of videos meant for people who are just getting into exercise.

I googled a bunch of dance workout videos to do, too, and those are fun - also some good running in place videos. These are my favorite of those:

I would really really recommend Every Mother. It’s much better than YouTube videos and affordable. Also, it’s manageable for a beginner (workouts range from 15-30 mins).

You should join a gym and hire a personal trainer.

That should have been perimenopausal, not postmenopausal. Thanks!

Hi all. Any recs for a short (maybe up to 10 minutes?) workout video on youtube for me to do everyday?

I don't work out, don't exercise. But I know it's time to make a change.

For some background, I'm 41 and postmenopausal. Always been slender with BMI of around 19, but I never really lost all the baby weight after my last baby a few years ago and my BMI is now at 22. In particular, I now have some extra weight around my belly that I would like to get rid of.

Would appreciate any recommendations on how to get started. Thank you!
