River Road is a lot better than Wisconsin, Connecticut, or Georgia. Living off of River Road is pretty great from a logistics pov. Inside or outside of the beltway.

That occurred on the busy stretch of River Road by Whole Foods. I don't think OP is referring to that part of the road.

This is more focused on people in Bethesda but. River Road during the school week is terrible. Is it only me noticing that. I have to take the backroads almost every day to get to work! Does anyone know why.
