DCPS summer school is remedial academics, not camp and not enrichment. I would only consider summer school if your child would both: (1) be happy doing year round school and (2) you feel like they could benefit from more reinforcement before the next grade.

My daughter and some of her classmates got one yesterday. They are in kinder at a DC bilingual school. I’m interested to hear others experience and thoughts about attending versus going to camp.
