In 10th, kid 1 did APUSH and AP Comp Sci, kid 2 APUSH, AP Comp Sci, and AP Env Sci.

My oldest did three sophomore year (AP Spanish. Apush and AP comp sci principals).

My next one is also doing three (apush, AP java, and AP physics). He did two last year.

I think it totally depends on the kid and which classes.

APUSH as a Freshman (got a 5 so it went well).

Now AP CompSciA, APGov, and AP Physics.

Planning on 5-6 next year. We'd prefer 5 but we'll see.

Thank you, they were thinking of AP Computer science, is that what you meant? They’re in Apush now at their school it’s for 9th graders so AP government would be next year.

Thank you, they were thinking of AP Computer science, is that what you meant? They’re in Apush now at their school it’s for 9th graders so AP government would be next year.

Trying to figure out schedules for next year. They’re my oldest so still new to navigating HS.

How many AP courses did your student take as a sophomore. They have 1 as a freshman. Don’t want to overload them next year but also want them to be challenged.
