They focused on APs in areas of strength or interest rather than trying to cover every core subject. 2 went on to UMD College Park and my youngest is a junior so I don’t know where he’ll land. None of mine had the goal of any Ivy or T20. At our HS, it seems to be the norm to load up so my kids were outliers. Still they landed where they wanted to be. We are very pleased with UMD.

Thank you, they were thinking of AP Computer science, is that what you meant? They’re in Apush now at their school it’s for 9th graders so AP government would be next year.
