I usually watch what I eat. But I will be on a long weekend cruise girls trip. Soda is included in the fare. I don't drink though other people on the trip will be drinking.
Would you keep avoiding diet soda? Or make exception for this short weekend trip, such as in lieu of dessert or cocktails?
If you are watching your calories, would drink soda water or seltzer with lime/lemon twist. You can also pack some crystal light packets if you want fruit flavor with no sugar. Diet soda seems harmless but may induce eating unnecessary processed carbs such desserts.
