I bought a $3000 bag when I decided to quit my $60k a year soul sucking part time job. Paid off credit card that month. $5m nw.

You can obviously afford it and it sounds like there's a specific one that you have your eye on and will be satisfied once you have that one (not that you couldn't afford to have several if that became your thing)

When I'm considering expensive purchases I often think about something my granny told me. She always wanted a green jag (and had enough money for it) but never bought one. I asked her why not and she said "because I know that once I had it, I'd quickly moving on to longing for the next thing". Some things we buy and continue to treasure, others give us a quick hit thats gone before you know it - it sounds like this is the former for you

lol yes you can afford it. Life is too short. There, you have permission.

You can afford it, just buy it.

Alternately, set up alerts on designer consignment sites and see if it pops up - can be a super way to get what you want at like 20% of the cost.

I don’t need to justify anything. If I really like it and it won’t dent my pocketbook I buy it. But I don’t have many splurges.
