The FCPS leadership wants to make WSHS less appealing.
Fortunately, Mr. Mukai built an incredible team there at all levels, so Reid and co might not achieve the result they want.
I’ll add that I don’t blame him a bit. It will be hard to be the principal of WSHS next year. Remember how they brought a “rookie” Renee Miller (later she moved to Keene mill) in to close out Clifton Elementary? The interim principal will have a tough job next year.
But out of a national search to decide to move the WSHS principal during a contentious time. They know what they are doing.
