Hi Linda, I genuinely don't have any record of those emails. Could you kindly re-forward them so I can access them and address the situation? I searched X, Y, and Z for this date range, even spam, and did not find them. I am wondering what may have happened. Thanks!

Client says I sent numerous emails on this issue.

There are 0 emails except that email. Very easy to know and pull that information.

Client explicitly is asking for free work several months after a project ended.

I don't get it. Emails are such an easy thing to pull. Why in the world would someone try to threaten someone over emails that don't exist?
