I assume throwing salt they use on roads would ruin turf? Like, if melting is only option, they'll not be able to be used until next week at earliest. Temps are not gonna be all that high until midweek.

Chance of a match happening this weekend on Baltimore turf?

With a little more snow forecasted Friday/Sat? Not a chance.

Any more insight on this? Has Liberty been played yet this week? Blandair? Covenant? Coppermine? There has to be some SAC/Baltimore/MDU/Coppermine/Pipeline parents here

Our ECNL games have already been cancelled for this weekend. They would have been on turf. I don't see how anyone who is playing on turf will play this weekend.

I know a lot of places won't allow shoveling and it just has to melt.

We're in Colorado and I'm not sure how they did it but snow was removed from our HS field before playoff games in November (early December?). I was walking the track to stay warm while the kids were warming up before the game and there was SO MUCH turf in the piles of snow on the sides of the field. So it is damaging.

Nope it has to melt. Turf gets warm in the sun so it melts faster than asphalt.

Just wondering, does it just melt off?
