I don't think that he was wrong but there was nothing new in terms of information. It is well known that you are evaluated in context of your school, that they want more rural kids, and that things like QB and Posse are becoming increasingly important resources to screen candidates in a manner that the schools themselves cannot. 3-5 minutes would have been plenty.

And posse is for ALL students. It’s a merit scholarship.


Posse's target profile isn't the typical DVM family on DCUM.

Sure but DS’s roomate is a posse scholar and his dads an investment banker and mom is a corporate lawyer.

Very familiar with a current athlete at this school. Receives counseling on which courses and majors to avoid and which to take to avoid further embarrassment in class discussions. Not kidding.

That's the problem with most college counselors. Only hire or get advice from someone who has RECENTLY been in the room.

As soon as I saw who it was, I closed the window. That guy's videos just meander. My sense is that he's one of those independents who never worked for a school and doesn't really know anyone who does. It's all just conjecture.
