DCUM:

The nest of Hornets I voluntarily keep in the house has been dormant this week. It's nice having a break from having my face stung repeatedly. I can almost see out of one eye! Next week I expect things will return to normal, with my hornets attacking my face.

That's all. Just venting. Don't tell me to remove the hornets. I don't need solutions. I need to complain.

Lol. That's just men. I have been married 20 years and love DH. Men are like this when they are sick.

You know women can shovel snow and throw down salt too, right?

+1 Why on earth would anyone stay in a marriage like this?

Seriously.

My husband and I both travel, some for work but more with friends, and every time he's gone I realize how much I never want to live without him (and not just because it's more work for me when he's not here but because I miss his company).

I feel like in your case this is telling you something. I can't imagine being married to someone I would rather not be around!

If he has a temper then it’s time to end it and move on. Stella needs to get her groove back and it ain’t gonna be with with Mr. Sicko.

Taste of how it could be. I love when my husband is sick in bed or asleep!

He's been quarantined in the bedroom for days. I bring him his meals; he sleeps a lot; I don't have to hear his voice or deal with his moods or his hair-trigger temper... It's been hard to parent alone but overall it's been a very peaceful week. One night this week I dreamed that I finally told him I wanted a divorce and it was the most exhilarating feeling.

Just had to share that.
