Noooooooooo. I live in Charlotte. It's a fifth-rate city with delusions of mediocrity masquerading as a third-rate city with delusions of grandeur. There's nothing in Charlotte you can't do in the DC area--and odds are whatever you do in the DC area would be vastly superior.

Will Florida be warm enough? With kids that age I think I would want just a beach and a pool. You can easily nurse sitting pool side and out the kids in puddle jumpers. I’d say PR or further south but the medical care issue becomes more spotty.
I’m not sure which Florida resorts would be best….some of the gulf side ones have had hurricane issues. Marco Island Marriot maybe? They have suites I think so you could put the little kids in a separate room so the baby doesn’t wake them at night.

We did. It was super easy. Wore her in a carrier. Not sure what you mean by feeding all day. My kids nursed 20 minutes and were done.

Why are you traveling during spring break? Until your kids are in middle school, travel when not rush times with school breaks.

I would not want bring a 3mo to Disney - you’ll spend all day feeding and changing diapers. I have a three week old and we also considered Orlando for spring break, but would have brought our nanny and left baby back at the house. We decided to just stay home this year.

Sorry but this sounds so boring (NP here). Kids are only young once and if OP is up for the challenge or adventure, why not? The change of scenery can be a major morale boost (which is the whole point of travel).

Agree with Disney, it's the easiest trip to plan with that age group. Also agree with the other poster that you don't even have to go to the parks each day since there are plenty of other activities in Orlando.

Hilton Head or (gasp) Myrtle Beach, plenty of things to do and lots of condos to rent with lazy rivers and beachfront to play all day or not.

Somewhere in Florida that's not Orlando.

FDR Jamaica, a hotel only for families. There is a nurse on site each day and a doctor on call. Great place for young kids and parents.

I am pretty flexible with accommodations - but everytime we went to Great Wolf Lodge someone came home not feeling well.

I would not do that with an infant.

I prefer a short flight than a drive, I’d probably go to Florida.

We did Disney when my son was 4 and his sister was 3mos old. You don’t need to go to the park everyday. The weather will be lovely there in April. Get a house and hang out by the pool.

About to give birth next week and thinking ahead to spring break for my kids who are 4 and 5 - it will be mid-April so the baby will be exactly 3 months old at that time. This is a little earlier than I would normally want to travel with a baby (and this all presumes the baby is healthy and able to travel), but it's a unique time when both I and my husband will be off and we can all easily take an 8-9 day trip. Only requirements are (1) short direct flight or reasonable drive (2) fun for a 4 and 5 year old (3) good healthcare in case something happens with the baby. 4 and 5 year old are good travelers.
