Hate to break it to you - but admissions officers know exactly what you’re doing when you take PE P/F and see all other classes that are mostly honors or APs with As. They are still going to just take the core classes and unweight them to be able to compare GPAs among kids in different counties or states. For example, my nephew’s private school gives no added weight for honors or AP classes.

Anonymous wrote:My kid is taking online PE now (full year) and I wouldn't call is an easy A. Students are required to log in with their cameras on during class times and complete assignments, which include discussion board posts and workouts that meet specific time and heart rate requirements. Honestly, it’s a bit more work than some in-person classes. I am not saying it is a hard A but does require consistent effort.

Actually, I take that back. If you are worried about an “A” hurting your kid’s GPA go ahead and do it. The colleges will all know you are trying to game with system, though. They unweight everyone’s GPA with only core classes (bad not PE). Your little game won’t work.
Sorry you’re in such a terrible mood. I hope you enjoy the snow
I actually wanted my kid to take it P/F to eliminate stress. She’s very busy and knowing that she doesn’t have to be perfect and get an A on every assignment would destress the whole thing.
