Stay at El Conquistador resort in Fajardo, PR which has its own water park and nice pool area and slide for little kids, plus a lazy river, and their own private island and plenty of space to run around and be free.
Or for a slightly more expensive option the Ritz Carlton Dorado Beach resort has playgrounds, awesome beaches, a beach club, its own water mill waterpark for kids of all ages, spa, great restaurants and great vibe.
Another option is the Wyndham Rio Mar. Nice but not as exciting as the other two. But it it’s right in front of El Yunque rain forest where you can hike and swim, and it’s right on the beach.
“Slightly more expensive option” - we have different definitions of slightly.
I feel this poster brings up Ritz Carlton Dorado Beach on every travel recommendation post they respond to.

Anonymous wrote:Not AI, but we've been to Aruba 10 times because of the nonstop flights, relatively easy airport, friendly locals, safety and convenience. Many chain hotels on a strip with a variety of restaurants across the street. Favorites in order - Ritz, Marriott Stellaris, Hyatt, Hilton. There is also a Renaissance in downtown with a private island that has flamingos. That is a fun experience too.
Our favorite island is Cayman but we've been to Aruba more for the convenience.
