Now when I get an actual phone call, I hide in the closet, bathroom, close the bedroom door, it’s not even that the discussions are private in nature. I just have an overwhelming sense of embarrassment when someone hears me on the phone. This includes my relatives. Why does my body respond like this now?
I wonder if it’s because when I take personal calls at work I go to a private location and mentally I could be carrying that over?
This just started happening a few years ago and it’s getting worse.
I have no idea but I wish more people would refrain from talking loudly on their phones in public spaces. It is so annoying in the supermarket/ stores/ restaurants etc.
