You can order Uber in advance for a specific time. That might reduce waiting.
At the airport? How do you know what sort of delays you’ll encounter? It’s not feasible at the airport to order a ride in advance. I’d feel like I was adding to my frustration if, say, we sat on the taxiway waiting for a gate to open, and I knew I had to rush to my soon-to-be-arriving Uber. Just no. I’m stressed by the thought.
Okay it’s been a long time, admittedly, but don’t they still have a cab stand at the airport? I get taking an uber to the airport but why not a cab back.

They cost more and you still have to deal with someone else’s driving and conversation.

Thats hard to estimate - flights are early or late and if you have luggage is always dicey.Anonymous wrote:I find Uber much faster and convenient than parking, but you do you.

how long are you gone for? We usually park because it is a wash and we are 25 minutes from Dulles. I haven’t flown out of National in ages.Anonymous wrote:I personally loathe using Uber for trips to/from the airport. We are about 30 minutes from the airport, but I swear it takes so much longer with the Uber driver.
I’m really debating spending the, for us, $95 more it would cost to park our car at the airport (based on the average cost of our last few airport round trip rides.) On our last airport pickup, it took 20 minutes for the driver to get to us, and the whole time I thought, had we just parked here, we’d almost be home.
Last night we had Mexican food for dinner and spend $80 and I thought, yes, I’d give up one Mexican dinner to not have to screw with Uber on our upcoming trip.
Anyone else feel this way?
